head rest qestion

how do you remove the head rest on a 69 dart? don't want to damage anything. thanks in advance

Pull it up straight out of the mount. They are only held in with a spring tang that clips into notches on the headrest pedestal. You won't damage the headrest by pulling it out unless it is really dry rotted and can't handle your grip on it!!! Geof
