Are heater cores the same between AC and non-AC cars?

In another thread, I found out that one of our sponsors sells a heater seal kit for my originally AC-equipped '65, so I'd be inclined to replace the heater core while it's apart. It appears that the normal outlets only sell one variety, so any input here would be helpful! Thanks!

I suspect they are the same since the in/out pipes are in the same firewall location for both AC and non-AC

Yes, the heater core is the same for A/C versus non A/C. Good luck finding one in good quality; mostly it's Chinese garbage these days. You might check with Old Car Parts Northwest.

What about that "Airtek" or whatever the name is, Dan?? Have you ever heard or dealt with them?? I bought a heater core for my 66 from them about 10 years ago and it's still in fine order! As I remember they were out of Texas, and they sent me a catalog with my order, which I still have here....somewhere!!!
