Hey guys, just stumbled across these forums and thought I should sign up and say g'day!
Names Alan, 24 from Australia. Have recently picked up a 1969 VF Valiant 2 door (Very similar to your Dodge Dart from what I have seen) and will be working on it spending lots of time and money over the next few years to get her back on the road. Currently has a 318 fireball V8 and Torqueflite trans it it, soon to be replaced by a 4Litre Ford Xr6 turbo motor "Barra", think Australias Toyota Supra 2jz equivalent + an extra litre displacement. Plans are to put in new rack and pinion steering conversion, ford 9" diff with disk brakes, larger disk brakes up front, Caltracs, fabricate transmission tunnel to suit my new gearbox, change strange Valiant stud pattern for Ford stud pattern (alot more widely used here), bigger turbo, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump etc etc. Aiming for around 400rwhp.
Anyone those are my basic plans and I look forward to learning and chatting with you all in the future!
