Glad to see others out there are keeping their rides going and others are offering parts. I've had my 67 Barracuda 273 Commando since 1973. Had it up for sale 15 years ago, but when a buyer got serious, I didn't have the heart to sell it.

Just took it out of storage after 13 years. Parts are not as easy to find as they were back then. Looking for a new good quality dipstick and tube and could find one if I knew the correct length. Not sure if the one in my car is correct, so it is difficult to know the length needed. :banghead: Any info would be appreciated.

Welcome to FABO! I'm sure you'll get some good info here.

As far as the dipstick, while maybe not exactly correct, do a full drain.....and then add 5qts. Run it a few minutes and shut her off and let it drain down. Then pull and wipe the dipstick several times. See where the level is and mark it there. Regardless of the level vs the stock mark, that should be a safe level.

Welcome to FABO,lady. Thank you ,for hanging on to pride. Most people ,sell . Says something there.
