i have taken loose the signal light on the front fender of a 72 dart. but there is no place to disconnect and the light is too big to drop through the hole. is this a fiber optic, or elect light? don't want to cut fiber optic. but there has got to be some way to take off the wiring harness to paint?? spend 2 hours on it already, someone help me quick!!!

You have to give it a firm twist, they sometimes melt in the socket but it is a twist and it will come apart. I have have broken them before getting them apart because of this. I have a good used one if you do breakit, let me know. John

got it off, shew... afraid to pull too hard. someone broke the other one at the base of the bulb. is that a hard part to find new??
