[WANTED] HEMI-engine or drivetrain

Hi MOPAR-fellows,


looking for a Gen. II Hemi or complete drivetrain.


Purpose is a street/strip car, so water blocks/heads are mandatory.


Preferred:

- stock displacement of 426cui

- the more complete, the better

- running engine with proof/documentation

- power-chart


accepted:

- strokers

- non-original engines (day 2 mods or manufactured by KB / INDY)

- either material for blocks/heads (iron or aluminum)

- non-runner

- parts missing / no complete drivetrain

- no powerchart

- any year of casting


no-go’s:

- junk

- solid no water blocks/heads

- cement filled blocks

- too radical race-only engines



Curious what you have in your barns / garages / shops / storages / engine-bays ;-)

Thanks for your offer, had seen that engine in the FS-section already, but did not start my fire.

Anyway, will PM you as requested: maybe we’ll find together.

Before posting my search I had checked the FS-section already.

Engines advertised were either too much asking price or the reasonably priced ones were sold meanwhile.

As a price-wise orientation:
-a brandnew INDY-crate-engine (complete carb to pan) is just $22k (426cui/515HP).
- Only 2k more gets you the 572cui/750HP.
- Add 3k to either and it even is all-aluminum.
