I will try to get a few more pictures tomorrow and post. I hate to mess with originality, but my next project is going to be installing an 8 3/4 rear end, with 4 1/2" bolt pattern wheels on disc brakes. I'm thinking 205/60R15 tires on MoPar Magnum wheels would look good and hopefully clear the wheel wells. What do you guys think? Will 205/60R15's fit? Also, I'm waiting for a Lokar kick down kit to arrive, the linkage that was on the trans was incorrect... She had a 273 originally, but somewhere along the line, a 318 was installed and a new Borgeson steering box as well. Just retired in September from the car business, so this is a fun project/hobby!
Thanks WV64Signet! Sounds like I can probably do to a 215/60R15 with no problem. I purchased some 15x7 wheels with a 4.25" offset. Was the '64 Valiant-Canadian the same car as the American Dart?P225/60R-15 on my 64 which also has the 2/3 rear wheel opening. 15 x 6 Cragars
