Anyone know of or have a good manual on the Holley 4144-1 carb. I'm looking for one.

I have the holley 4144 for the center and on the metering plate you have booster holes. I have a gasket with all 4 holes open and then the new one only has two open. That's what I would like to find out, what one is the right one. and what do they do.

If they are necessary, can you punch the holes in the new gasket yourself???

Try spraying carb cleaner in the holes that they go to and see what they do??? (wear safety glasses in case of back spray....)

Not right now. It's still together and not ready to take apart. I will when I do though. I'm trying to get some one with holley to tell me something.

I was told by Holley that the 4144 only has 2 holes. So now I'm wondering if summit sold me a returned one that someone messed with and put the wrong gasket on it.
