How many is too many?
So I finally got a chance to assemble some spare parts I had laying around. I had to modify the linkage to get the throttle plates timed correctly at WOT and I notice the vent hole in the metering blocks is not square enough to accept the standard holley whistle shape baffles without mods. Is there a corresponding baffle to fit these as is? When I sat the carb on an open style 2" spacer the throttle plates actually contact the edges before full throttle. Is it common on these to have to clearance the spacers or is there a better brand that is relieved properly out of the box. A four hole spacer for this would be nice if it fit.
