Hood clearance

Swinger, AAR hood, 340, Air Gap, Avenger carb and the black Mopar air cleaner. I need more clearance to close hood - options ?

A drop base on the air cleaner might help. Just get the saw out and cut a
hole. I did it on the Duster to clear the hood. I set the top of the air filter
right at the hood line. Pulls in alot of air with the dual scoop.

A drop base will help a lot and a shorter filter can be used if needed.
