Great work! I'm wondering if a solid screen may give the same effect but without the striping from the numerous pieces of mesh tape. I'd probably prefer a more uniform appearance. Looks cool though and it's obvious you've got some serious skills. I'm jealous.

How'd you get the effect on the scoop portion?

drawer liner when it comes to the dry wall tape i can get much wider i just bought a cheap small roll to see what effect it would have i am going to being more different effects and posting them if you want to see any of your ideas come to life let me know

suggestion: run the paint treatment across to the base of the windshied over the top of the cowl. There is a reason Mopar designers did this - make the hood not look like it was "tacked on" but rather an integral part of the car.

i will do that when i do the whole car I just did it to throw some ideas around. Not sure i am going the route. I just opened a small custom auto paint shop and i am doing small jobs just to see what can or cant be done. Also to see what they look like.
