I've had to put the front armrests back in my '65 Barracuda several times, (I finally reinforced them and their holding for now) and usually ended up laying on the floor looking up with the door open, a flashlight, and a screwdriver trying to get the second screw aligned. Today I was putting a rear one back in, and opening the door and laying on the floor isn't an option, so you do it all by feel. Just as I was finishing up the fourth or fifth attempt (successful finally!) it dawned on me that since the primary problem was getting everything aligned twice, 2 screwdrivers might help.
Of course, I had to take the door panel (or is it a side panel back there) off again, so I had an opportunity to try my idea. I started the screws in the armrest holes, inserted the screwdrivers, then put the whole thing up to the door (side?) panel, aligned the screws, and drove them home. If I can just remember this the next time I have armrests off!
