I have a bulb out on the driver's side taillight on my 1974 Plymouth Duster. I have tried to unscrew the socket to get to the bulb and replace it, but I can't budge it. Is there a trick to removing one without damaging anything? I am sure this is a dumb question but this is my first classic car.

Thanks

Just wiggle it back and forth while pulling it out. It'll come, it's just Spring Pressure from the Internal Fingers in there.

Also, clean any dirt and rust off the fingers on the socket and around from the hole where it installs. These areas need to be bare metal to conduct ground properly.
