Life Long MOPAR Owner
This is on my 64 /6 with December 63 build date. Some of you are going to say "Ya that's how I always do it". Well I didn't know so I'm passing this on for the other /6 newbies. After soaking the rockers over night, poking a guitar string, using two cans of brake cleaner....Nothing. Some barely would pass air through weep hole and others completely blocked. I needed to clean the VC and thought I'll use the pressure washer for the 50 year old gunk. Well marbles fall unto place....Here is how I did it.
What you need: Heavy work boots, safety glasses and a pressure washer.
Put the rockers on the shaft.
Step, clamp, weigh down, some method on the rockers on the adjuster end. You want the weep hole facing up.
Put pressure washer in pencil mode and spray down the weep hole. Watch out (safety glasses) since the water will shoot out the top of the rocker.
Have fun getting wet. Craig
