How to hook up a tac???

My dart has no tac. But I am trying to tune it up with my good old sears tun up tac. And I would like to add one of the vintage looking sun tac's at sum point. I am embraced to confess that I have had GM HEI ignitions for way to long, and have no clue how to hook up the the mopar electronic ignition. My last mopar was in high school, and well my memory is not what it once was. Thanks for any help!!

need more info.


tell use the wire colors from the new tach when you get it.

but basically you'll have a wire to the neg side of coil, to the dash light circuit, to switched key power, and 1 to ground.

Black ground red ignition on power green negative side of coil white power on with head lamps

The sears tuning tac just has a red and a black.

More than likely red to hot and black to coil negative

Well I finaly figured it out. Red to coil neg, and black to ground. Thanks to every one for there help!!
