Mods, if yall think this is clear enough, please make it a sticky so that it can be referred to. Thanks.

How to leave FABO feedback.

A lot of people have expressed frustration about the FABO feedback system. Although there are a few steps, it's really not difficult at all. Here is how I do it.

I go to the for sale ad where I found the original item. Then over to the left, I click on the link to the seller's profile under their avatar. This works the same for buyers as well.

Once on their profile, you will see some tabs that begin on the left with "Visitor Messages", followed by "About me", Statistics", "Infractions" if they have any, "Contact info" and finally "Feedback Score".

"Feedback Score" will sometimes not be displayed, but instead you will see two small arrows indicating there is more there. Click on those and "Feedback Score" will be displayed.

Click on "Feedback Score". This takes you to a non detailed summary of that member's feedback. Next click on "See All Feedback" for that member. Now, click on "Submit Feedback" for that member.

Make the selection whether you were the buyer or seller. Then choose whether the overall experience was positive or negative.

Then enter a short comment about the transaction. Next you must go to the thread where the deal was and copy the URL link. Then paste it in the area provided. You cannot leave feedback unless you do this.

Then in the large box, give a detailed description about the transaction.
Finally, click on "Submit Feedback" and you are done.

The person who you left feedback for will get an automatic message telling them you left feedback.

It's a little bit confusing I think because of the "infractions" tab. When a member has infractions, the "Feedback Score" tab is not displayed.

I hope I have outlined here how to resolve that.

Thanks. ~Rob

Had to explain this a few times to members that ask me, .. All just because of my post count...

Great write-up Rob.

Here's the way that I've done it:

When I first reply to an ad, I copy the link to it and paste it to the bottom of my PM to the seller. That way if the seller has more than one ad, he can click on the link to know which one that I'm referring to and I can use the link later when I'm ready to leave feedback.

If he keeps adding to that original PM, I can use that link later after I get the part to get to the original ad. I can also keep my original PM in my "sent" box that has the link if the seller deletes on any replies.

When you go to the original post, I then copy the link for that ad from the address bar in my browser. Then you can get to the feedback screen by hovering your cursor over their feedback score number, and right click, and then enter the feedback screen in another window or another tab. If you pick another tab, it's easier to refer back to the original ad if needed for the link if you already haven't copied it yet.

Then fill out the feedback information as you have said...
