how to replace gauge lense

Im looking for tips on how to replace the clear gauge lenses on my 72 scamp non rally dash.

What did you do to repair the broken spot on the left side?

i used a piece from a donor bezel that was broke already and epoxied it in. It turned out well.

..extra fine polish/compound and a soft cloth.
..will buff crystal clear by hand with care.

I could go that route. But i got some paint on them my tape job apparently wasnt great. So what to use to take the paint off with out etching the plastic. Which is why i thought about changing the lenses

Looks great man. I personally would buff the plastic but I've never done it on a gauge bezel. I sanded the clear plastic on my AM radio with 2000 grit and buffed it and it came out perfect.

Any tips on masking off all the little gauges in there? I want to do the same thing to an old bezel of mine but it seems like it would take weeks to do.
