How wide ?

Anyone have any idea what the maximum tire width for a 14" X 6" ralley wheel?

Probably a 7" - 8.5" MAX, most tires will say their min/max rim widths.

215 60 at max my fronts are 14x6 and i run that rim wont hold more

I have P225/60/R14 B.F Goodrich Radial TA'S on my 14x6 rims they fit no problem, but I think P215/60/R14 will be better, the side wall will be a little more flush to the rim lip.

215 on an 8.5 I would need to see it to believe it, my 14x8"s on the back of my car have P245/60/R14 and the side wall is sitting almost flush.

Re-read, IS was the word I used. 215=8.5".
