The Hurst 71-74 B Body bench seat pistol grip shifter seems to be the preferred aftermarket one to use in an early A with bucket seats. Per Brewers it will also work in 67-76 A bodies (am guessing with just buckets or a bench). I would check with Brewers on that. Someone here on FABO also commented that this handle WILL NOT work with 67-76 consoles.
I bought this handle years ago when I going with a 4 speed in my wagon. Plans changed and I need to go with an automatic. This handle fits only shifters using 2 bolts to secure the handle to the shifter. This handle is as new with a gorgeous chrome handle and mint woodgrained pistol grip as originally shipped by Hurst. It’s always been stored in the original red sleeve inside the original box. Brewers gets $249 plus shipping; elsewhere (on eBay and others selling it) get $295 plus shipping.
