What does an A-body Hurst bayonet style floor shifter stick look like for a non-console, bench seat car? Are non-console bucket and bench seat shifter sticks different?

I'm hoping to find of see a pic of a Hurst bayonet style shifter stick similar to this Inland F-body unit so I can use the stick with a Hurst shifter I have:

As shown, the angle is approx. 120 degrees, and the sitck has no offset.

TIA,

Casey

Hi Casey,

Can't tell you for sure wether the bench and buckets had the same shifter handle, but this one is for buckets, non console car.
The bayonet style is actually the clip that holds the handle in the shifter mechanism. The pics I posted are non-bayonet style, '70 and later style, #7926, two bolts in the stem for fastening.

Hope this helps.

But then again, if in doubt, talk to the pro's.

Best of luck.
