Hurst shifter

Last year I acquired a Dart with a Hurst Promatic2 shifter with a manual reverse valve body in the tranny. I want to change the valve body back to the factory set up. Can I continue using the Hurst shifter?

A promatic2 can be used with a standard or reverse valve body.
