so i did a mcleod hydraulic cltuch conversion in my 71 duster . its a 440 with a a833 tranny. the kit came with a wilwood master cylinder . i got the kit in the car and only got a few days out of it before the master cylinder blew up, it destroyed the piston in the master . the clutch rod is as straight as i could get it and is pretty well straight on for the entire travel of the pedal. i called where i got it from and they told me to bad as i purchased it a couple years ago, just never got the car on the road till now . so now I'm wondering is there another stock style master cylinder that will fit and work from something else. i seen there a few from a nissan or a honda that look close. just trying to save the time of ordering in a bunch to see what works. thanks .

Did you use a Heim joint on the pedal side?
