Yup, I called Mancini's this afternoon. Ordered my polished ceramic coated thermal-barrier headers and matching 2.5" X pipe exhaust system. And the re-pro "614" radiator fan shrould. And a billet thermostat housing for good measure.

<GULP> I spent almost as much today as I did for the whole %$#@#$% car when I bought the shell 9 yrs. ago.....

I know...I know.... It's just going this far and trying to be reasonable when it comes to making purchases. $6 for a VIN rivet? That's nuts.... $730 for headers? Think that's any more rational?!?!? But at this point, WTF....

I know just what you mean. I just paid $80 for a pair of battery cables, $17 for a valve cover decal and of coarse $700 for the same heads.

I feel the pain as well...$730 tti headers, $130 tti moto mounts, and get this...$400 weldtech oil pan! ouch

I feel your pain as well. I just dropped $330. on power steering brackets, wiring harness and a heater hose fender strap. I also went with the tti's, alum. rad. etc. etc. etc...

Almost everything I buy is a $100 or better.... $12 VIN rivets seem like a bargain!

I just bought some trim that goes on the door directly under the window of my 67 cuda....the tabs that hold in in the holes are there but look to be a little rusty...what are those called and where do I get them? Sorry for the hijacked thread!
