My '68 dart w/318 has pertronix conversion on it and an accel coil, and accel 8.8 mm wires. It seems like when I put a load on the engine (like when i'm accelerating hard) it seems like it drops 1 if not 2 cylinders at about 3500 RPM and I noticed that my tach needle bounces slightly at an idle. So the other night I looked under my hood while the car was running and the engine was warm and I saw that at every sparkplug their was witeish blue ring.

So after all that would be causing some of my issues and what would cause this maybe improper plug gap?

one of the first things i would look at is the air gap and also that the dist. shaft for any wear in the bushings.

What should the gap be?

you should have gotten a plastic feeler gauge with the kit. if you lost it just give them a call.
