I’ve got a healthy 360, edelbrock performer heads, 883 gearbox.

Keen to turn it into a 408 and add a new cam etc.

Where is the best place to source the crank, rods and pistons.
Summit have the eagle kit but it’s not in stock.

SCAT, there very nice high quality components! I prefer to have my machinist balance the rotating assembly. SCAT also offers balanced rotating assemblies. 65'

I just purchased a scat 408 kit from summit. It was in stock. It is a cast crank kit with forged pistons and rods. Try Mancini.

Depends what kind of Parts you're looking for. Crank type, forged or cast steel, nodular iron. Piston type too.
I like Ohio Crankshaft.
Couple decades ago I found them advertising in Mopar Muscle. 950 dollar stroker kits back then... internally balanced and out the door..1,150...back then. Now it's more $.

I just ordered one from Scat ,themselves.
Three to four week wait time.
