Installing a window regulator

I am replacing a window regulator on the right rear window of my 1964 Dart convertible.

My question is how do I install the clips that hold the regulator to the window holding channel?
The clips push on, but there is no room to push with anything. There must be some trick. Anyone know?

I managed to get the clips on after loosening the bottom of the rails. I took lots of small tools and a lot of time. The only "trick" I found was swearing a lot :banghead:

I have been thinking of replacing my rear quarter glass - but I'm not much good at swearing.
Maybe I shouldn't try it???

It can be done but it takes time and patience.

I ended up slipping a small closed end wrench into the channel, and using some bent end needle nose pliers to pull the clips onto the shaft. There is not a room to work in there.
