I bought the IV4 solid state instrument panel voltage regulator and installed it today in my 70 Dart non-rallye dash. It was a bit of a challenge to do it without taking out the dash, but I was able to do so by removing the plastic steering column trim and cramming my hand up inside the dash. You may need to move the wire loom a bit too. Someone with large hands might have more trouble than I did. Even though it doesn't need the condensor that the original one uses, I still left it plugged in because it made for a more snug fit. The wire loom that is in that area was touching the regulator and it moved it just enough to take it out of position and render it inoperable. Everything is good now though. Good luck to anyone else that tries it, have a flashlight ready.

Sounds like you're pretty handy with crammin. heh.
