It's another one of those "senior moments." I'm building an engine run test stand; however, my question will pertain to the engine, driver side, installation. The insulator I have (new) has a "raised dimple." Does that dimple go into the other hole on the on the mount bracket? If so, the Insulator will not be "square" on the bracket. (see picture) Or is the insulator upside down, with the dimple toward the K frame? (Or the wrong insulator) When I removed the engine, I didn't pay attention to the insulator (old) and I even threw it in the scrap barrel, which has long ago been emptied. I'm reasonably sure I have the right insulator by part number. 1965 Barracuda 225.

Wrong mount. You have an early A body bracket with a later biscuit style mount. I don't see why it matters on a run stand. Here's what the correct early A mounts look like.

Ahh! Best I remember, I got it by part number 2265018 from Rock Auto. I agree, using it on my run stand won't make much of a difference.
I'll get the right one coming. The one on the other side I have looks like the right one, but I got it from Rock Auto also.
Thanks for the reply.

They will at least be the correct thickness then. The early A mounts are thicker I believe than the biscuit mounts.
