Internal Retaining Rings

Would any of you shy away from using the internal retaining rings from Harbor Frieght for piston pins?

Yeah, think that are made off shores. Look at McMasterCarr. And you also would be better off using the spiral lock ones, but that depend on what is called for from the piston maker.

Nothing but what is recommended by the piston manufacturer. They have to be the correct material and precise design, tension & measurements.
