Is 904 Column Shift Linkage The Same for 727?

Is the column shift linkage off a 904 the same for the 727???? Thanks!!

I was told it was the gentleman in the video that when he installed the 727 behind his big block, he used all the original 904 linkage.

When he pulls up to the camera after his "fun time", he puts it in park using the column shifter. Thats proof enough for me that it swaps over.

It's always worked for me and once I went from slant to 440. The shift linkage was one of the constants that didn't change much over the years.
