Howdy all, cosgig here!! I have a question that's been in my mind for a while now that maybe some of you can answer. You see, I have a set of super stock springs on a 66 cuda I just got and was thinking about putting them on Nellas 67, but I have always been under the assumption that the early A body cars have a different main spring length!! Is this true or are all A body spring lengths the same??
When I redid the blue 66, I had a set of HD leaf springs from a 340 Duster, so I used my 66 main leaf and all of the other springs from the HD set!! I was told back then that the springs are at least an inch different and would not interchange!!
So, are all A body spring lengths the same, and if not, do they make a super stock spring for early A body cars? These springs seem to be the correct length and are not pushing out the shackle mounts!!
