It’s Alive!

I connect my phone to the PC with its USB charging cable, open the DCIM / Camera file (Android phone), and copy and paste the video file to the PC.

Then if I want to edit it, I'll use MPEG Streamclip to convert it to an AVI file for editing. Because I still stubbornly use Windows Movie Maker 2.6 (from about 2004) and MM 2.6 won't read an MP4 file, I can use AVI or WMV or some other older formats.
Then once edited, upload to youtube.

Easy! :)

My upcoming Duster part 4 video will use this method. And also some MP4 video directly from my video camera will be included. I forgot to bring the camera with me on some days of the rewiring job, so my phone did the video recording. But once the video files are in the PC, it is all the same from there.
