I went up to the Jefferson WI car show to try and find some parts and while it was a well run show I was disappointed. I know it is a early show but when I got there at 9 am most of the vendors were already loaded up and leaving. There were not a lot of show cars either. I thought the swap started sat and show and swap on Sunday which is why I went Sunday so the kids could see all the cars. It was chilly and windy but in years past we had downpours all weekend and still were packed. Well hopefully the summer show will be better and by then I will have a car I can show off. if I ever find all the parts. I was mainly looking for a 360 mag intake. Not a single one there. Found one la air gap for 280.00 but that was it. Maybe I was just over anticipating it as its been a few years and a couple of kids since the last time I went. But man am I happy to be in a hot rod again.:glasses7:

After many years of both buying and selling at swap meets I found the 1st day is always the best time to go.A lot of people think if they go the second day they will get marked down bargains.Doesn't work that way...if sellers have good stuff and reasonable prices good chance it will sell right away... if not they aren't going to deal with you anyway. As a seller at one of the better swap meets in Colorado my BIL and I would sell and deal like crazy on the 1st day and not even go back the second day because it almost always never paid off.

Been to Jefferson several times, and never found what I was looking for. I actually went there a couple of yrs ago for a nice used dual plane intake for a small block mopar. Nothing under 150.00. Bought a new one. Over 3100 vendors too. Everything for a Camaro, Chevelle, or a 350 chivvy motor. Actually, Friday afternoons are a great time to be there or Saturday. Couple of big dealership promo model car dealers there that I have done business with. Always a fun time, though

I have been going to that show for around 15 years as a buyer and seller. The best day to go by far is Friday. I sold most of my stuff that day. Saturday was ok and I sold stuff a bit cheaper but all my more rare parts went on Friday. As far as Mopar goes, this is not the show for them. There are practically no venders (and I was one) and as far as the car show goes, they have the least amount. The best day for the car show is Saturday. They bring the most cause people have to work Friday and Sunday is usually done before noon. I have a 72 camaro I am restoring at my shop an I found a ton of parts for that car, but my mopars are still sitting the same way.

I went Saturday. More knick knack non car related **** than needed to be there. Majority of parts were, you said it, chevy and gm. However, there was one guy with mopar stuff. He had a '69 Dart hood with the front trim piece. Are you sitting down? He was selling it for $30! I couldn't believe it. He also had a couple of jacks with bases for our cars at $60 each. There were a few mopars in the show, but majority gm based. Nice, but not our make all the same.

Been going there since I was a kid..... everytime I go I ask myself... why the hell did I come here again? Oh wait its the first show after freezing my noogies off all winter. Jefferson cold wet and a mud pit in spring....and cold in fall. This year I didn't go for the first time! Go me! Go down to the mopar show they have at the boone county fair grounds.

I went about 3 years ago in the spring. Like you said, cold, wet and muddy. This year was in the 50's and sunny. ****, I ended up with the top of my head getting sunburnt! LOL But overall, a waste.
