Thinking about building a front subframe for a '62 Lancer.
Subframe will be 2x3 rectangle tubing using stock A- arm pickup points.
Possibly use stock steering or may go rack and pinion.
Most likely go coilovers and get away from torsion bars.
Question is - what is the difference in '60 --- ???
K members.
I think there were no V-8 until '65 correct ?
But are suspension pickup points the same ?

1964 had the V8 option. I bebelive the K members from 62 to 66 swap. Mostly it's the body that cause the interference problems. I beleive the 60/61 will take a 62 k member

I believe 60-62 the steering box was mounted to the framerail not the k frame. If you go rack n pinion that may not be an issue.

All '60-'66 "K" frames will interchange and have the same relative suspension pick up points but they are not identical as others have already noted. There are differences in lower control arm stud hole diameter, smaller on '60-'61. No steering box mounting provision on '60-'61. Unique idler arm mount and engine mounting pads for '60-'61. '62-'66 are nearly identical.
