Key light

'72 Dart. Does anyone know what I have to do to replace the key lamp bulb? How do I remove this cover? Or does this get real involved, if so, I'm not tearing the whole column apart. The light is not that important.

Pull on it. It's just a cover.

Okay, will give it another try. I tried to pry it, but didn't try real hard. I will put some rubber around it and try pulling it off. Probably never been removed in 50 yrs.

It pulled right off! Put a new 1445 bulb back and it works!
