kick panel speaker questions

Anybody have a set of these?

I bought a set and the passenger side has about a one inch gap along the bottom, just wondered if this is normal with these, or if I got it in wrong or what. Going cruising tonight and will get pictures.

I've got a pair of those in my '67 Barracuda and I don't have a gap like that.

OK, thanks. Later this week I will pull the passenger side out and compare it to the original kick panel.

no prob. Do you think it's a defective piece or is it possible you just didn't get it to tuck down far enough? I thought mine fit excellent and sound pretty darn good too.

I put them in my dart I don't have a gap either
