[WANTED] Large Bolt Pattern Axles Wanted!

Hi guys! Been lurking here for a while. I have spent all morning reading old threads on this and have gotten a lot of helpful information. Thank you all!

Based on that information I am told what I need are 7 1/4”, rear axle shafts from a later A Body that had originally been equipped with factory DISC brakes, and preferably came with the tow package, if possible.

I am doing the poor man’s large bolt pattern axle swap, I’m broke and this is a /6 car, mildly tuned. It’s a beach/school/after-school-job cruiser I built for my daughter. Nothing crazy on the HP.

If anyone has this part, I will buy it today! And I can send you the old ones if you want them for some reason.

Welcome to FABO. Double check me....but I'm pretty sure you will need to swap the entire rear end. The 7 1/4 BBP axles are a different length and spline count if I remember correctly. Dr. Diff has bolt in axles that can be used with your existing rear end and brakes if you redrill the drums. Good luck in your search.

the later axles won't work in the earlier housing & carrier for a variety of reasons.

best to swap the whole unit wholesale or as @JDMopar linked, hit up dr. diff and get the axle swap kit.
