I am going to order either Magnecor or Firecore plug wires for my new engine. I was wondering if stock wires fit OK, or if I should order custom lengths. I would imagine somebody out there has stock wires and wished they had different lengths? Or already knew and got the right sizes? Any other wire recomendations?
Also, would it be a good idea to mount the coil on the firewall or fender well?
My engine is a 408, Edebrock heads with the Edelbrock Elite valve covers, Accel dist and CDI ignition system. TTI headers. I haven't actually finished the engine yet (almost), so it is not installed. To get my own measurments is not an option at this time. Anyway, I thought I might use somebody else's experience rather than learn the hard way this time.
