limited slip gear oil

I want to change the gear oil in my 8/34. It's a limited slip. All the different brands I've seen say they can be used in a limited slip rear. Does that mean the gear oil has the additive in it already or do I still need to add it?

Any GL-5 spec oil should be fine straight out of the bottle.
