There must be some bit of info that I just don't have.... I tried all of those and several more I found with a google search trying to decode the fender tag from my '64 Dart 170, just for grins. Well, now it's becoming A bit of an obsession. Can anyone actually decode this tag, and/or explain to me what I missed??? Thanks BC

Most of the '65 fender tag codes are documented here: http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.org/ml-osterling65fendertag.html. Looks like '66 codes are similar.

3 = 9: 3-speed wipers
ab = 30: 273 V8 2bbl
d = 5: Torqueflite trans (904 in an A-body)
e = 1: A/C with heater. I've also seen this as power steering
q = 1: AM MusicMaster radio
v = 3: Back-up lights

C21 - scheduled build date: Dec 21 1965
00015 - factory invoice number
V76: Body code
V - Valiant
7 - Wagon high trim (200)
6 - Wagon 2-seat
H40: Trim code
H - high trim bench
4 - That page says bucket seats, which is obviously wrong. I've also seen it as vinyl seats
0 - Maybe it's a Q for turquoise
