Listen up Magnum 5.9 owners! Wanting to run that Magnum with a manual transmission? Grab yourself a Mcleod flywheel and balance it to Magnum specs with this simple bolt-on weight! This is GREAT if you're racing a small block with manual trans, and want to upgrade to the Magnum or MP Crate 5.9!

"But John," you're probably asking yourselves, "If this weight is so great, why aren't you using it?"

Simple! I found it, called Mcleod, and asked them about it. They said, "Suuuure! Just BOLT IT ON! Then, if you swap motors later, you can take the weight off and use your flywheel on whatever motor you want!"

"Sounds awesome!" I said, and so I ordered it. One small problem....you will need a Mcleod flywheel to use this! (They forgot to tell me that part, and I had Mopar flywheels).

So...here it is! you could probably have a machine shop drill the holes needed to mount this to any flywheel (Mcleod will send you the hole locations) but I make only the promise that it will fit what it was made for.

Mcleod's price: $40.00 PLUS shipping (Jegs and Scummit were the same price, last I checked)

MY price? $25.00 plus only ACTUAL shipping to where ever you want it sent too! Don't like that price? Make an offer...OR

Partial trades considered. What will I consider trading for?

A good-condition 318 flywheel (zero balance)
A '72 Dart A/C uncut radio bezel
'72 Dart interior hood release WITH latch
A pair of GOOD CONDITION twin hood scoops, WITH bezels
Premium electrical diagnostic/repair equipment (It should probably say "Fluke" on it somewhere...)
maybe even firearms, if that's legal

No FABO donation/discount swap on this one. Sorry :(

Payment can be cash in person, check or money order with time to clear bank, but Paypal is preferred for security. All parts are in, and will be shipped to/from Kansas City, MO. You can look at my ebay feedback history (username: JOS51700) to see how I do business.
Thanks!

Hi John, just thought I'd let you know I found this. Others like me thinking of converting a 5.9 auto to manual might like to know.

Occasionally Mcleod sells overstock flywheels for a good price. They list them on their forum and on Ebay http://stores.ebay.com/McLeod-Racing-Clutches?_trksid=p4340.l2563 and Racing Junk http://www.racingjunk.com/dealers/McLeod_Racing?page=1. I paid $200 for a 130 tooth aluminum wheel. The steel ones were $120. When I bought mine they had a good assortment of Mopar flywheels for sale cheap. Actually I called to ask a question about them and bought it direct from the tech dept. They are not showing any Mopar wheels right now but I would call the tech line and ask if they have any they want to clear out. Do not call the sales line. They will tell you to buy it from Summit for almost three times the money.
