Do you know if the sensors on a 97 5.9 donor OBDII would be analog? I would like to connect the OIL/TEMP/VOLT gauges to a modern digital gauge panel. I’m guessing this year is pre Data-Bus, but does the ECM monitor the sensors for optimum performance?

-Speedo: using geared cable and sending a VSS signal to ECM
-fuel level: not a problem using a traditional sender
-OIL, TEMP, VOLT gauges: Unsure about these!!!

Planning on using an Intellitronix 5 gauge digital dash which requires analog signals.

I’ve included a link for the Intellitronix gauge.

Thank you Dave!

if you go to the search tool and look up the title '' digital gauges'' by me, you can see how mine turned out.
