I have a Mallory electric fuel pump on my 64 Dodge and I am thinking it might not be enough pump for my car as my fuel pressure moves around in the upper rpm's and I kind of hear some popping on the top end. Motor is about 12.5 or 13 to 1 comp 440 running a 1050 dominator carb and 1/2 fuel line from the trunk forward. Fuel pump and regulator are brand new thinking the pump and reg on the car were bad when I bought it so I replaced with brand new of the same style on the car. let me know what you think and what pump you are running on car and what perf engine you have that your pump is feeding for comparison.
