Mallory Double Life distributor for small block. This is a dual point distributor that utilizes four points on the breaker cam instead of eight working the points only half as much, hence the name Double Life. I rebuilt this distributor some time ago. It has a pair of NOS Mallory heavy duty points, rotor and cap and the big condenser tests good. Even has the breaker plate cover that's usually missing. Adjustable mechanical advance. It's been a long time, but I think I remember putting around 6-7 degrees in the advance. That's 12-14 crank degrees. Located in middle Georgia.
No, that's not a crack in the breaker plate cover, it's a white cat hair. I blew it out.
