I putting a 408 stroker in my 73 dart swinger ,I thinking about using a milodon 30940 8 qt oil pan with hooker super comp headers. will it fit and what do I have to do to make it work ? has anyone used hughes camshaft her3624aln-10 ?

THE avatar is the hurst hairy olds. the pan clears the headers ,now lets see if it clears k member. you have to drill a hole in the baffle for the dipstick.

I have a 1973 dart swinger 408 stroker 500hp ,904,3500 stall ,3.50 gear
1970 442 conv 455 400 hp stick 3.42 gear

If drag only go for it. If not, go with the Milodon Road Race oil pan. It holds 6 quarts and sits above the k frame. Its whats on my 340.

You will likely need to cut a little triangle out of the K-frame lip on the passenger side to clear the right front corner of the sump during installation with that Milodon 8qt pan. But it's worth it and is a little shallower than a Moroso.

I also know several headers do not fit because of the flared sump. I use TTI on my race car and they fit very well with no clearance issues, including the ground.
