Heading back to Montgomery for day 3. There's a good chance for rain. Hope we can get the race in today. We made 10 passes yesterday all of them were within 14 thousandths of each other. That includes a few that we were driving the stripe. Man the new APD gas carb is good. I took it out of the box and the only adjustment I've made was that I turned the idle speed screws up 1/8 of a turn. The Bloomer headed engine is deadly consistent.

Day 3 it's cold 51 degrees and da 250 fr. Weather station says the AMX is going to run 5.82 it's never been quicker than 5.84. No time runs today back it out of the trailer and run it. It's going to be hard to dial it 82. But we're double entered and have buy backs if needed. I'm thinking 83 of maybe 84 if we're the quicker car.
