Bringing this thread back from the dead, cause i could use the same info.
To answer forphorty's question, its an m1 for a standard port 440, with a dominator pattern.

I’m surprised that this is still not common knowledge.
The “casting numbers” on MP heads and manifolds are not the “part numbers”, therefore they can’t be used to look them up in a catalog.

As for the operating range of the std M1/4500 single plane.......
As for just about any other manifold question....... the answer is, “it depends”.

The power band would be higher on a 14:1 400 with TF 240 heads and a .680 lift roller cam than it would be on a 10:1 572 with bowl blended 452’s and a 509 cam.

Forget where I saw it, but 3500-7500 rpm range for that manifold on a 440.

My 470 stroker had that intake and a 1050. 625 lift comp solid roller 275/275. 108. Ported stage 6 heads. Fiow 320/260. 11.2-1 compression. When dynoed it made 655 hp and 617 TQ. 108 volumetric efficiency. Pulled to 7000 easily. It has been to 8000 with nos as it reved so quick. Kim
