I'm in row I- 17 with a 2014 5.7 hemi, from a ram 4x4, with only 75 miles. Truck was stolen, wrecked, and recovered. $3500

408 stroker, scat crank, KB 356-030 pistons, Howard's 710581 flat tappet cam, ported J-heads, new 2.02 stainless valves, Summit balancer, 670 Holley. $4000 OBO
I still have both motors.

The 408 motor was run in a 1977 Power Wagon one ton, long enough to break the camshaft in and was driven about 20 miles. I used Brad Penn 20W50 along with zinc additive during break-in, and used 92 octane pump gas. Intentions were to build the motor for low end torque to use it for pulling a car hauler and plowing snow. I purchased another truck, so now the motor and Power Wagon are up for sale. After pulling the motor I took it apart and installed new rod and main bearings that were measured for clearance, installed a new set of Cometic head gaskets, cleaned all parts, and assembled motor.

1978 360 block bored .030", cylinders notched for rod clearance, and block was squared and decked. I also installed the oil crossover tube modification.
The heads have been ported nicely, which look to be done professionally to a stage 2 or 3 level. They have new stainless valves, bronze guides, and heavy duty springs to match the Howard's camshaft. .030" Cometic sheet metal re-usable head gaskets were installed. The roller rocker arms I'm not sure what brand they are but might be Pro-forms. I up-graded the adjuster screws to Crane Cams brand and cut the ball and cup push rods to length.
I port matched the intake manifold to the head intake ports and the exhaust side to a set of Flowtec headers.
The crankshaft (rotating assembly) was balanced and was told by the Machine shop owner it looked like a Scat (chamfered) cast crank. Crank was turned .010" on the rods and .020" on main bearings. The piston domes were trimmed on the edge on the valve side to clear hitting the head.

The quench was measured to .036". Rod and main bearing clearance was measured at .002-.003". Valve lash was set at ¾ turn. Camshaft was installed straight up with a 3 way timing gear adjustment. The motor was primed and has 75 lbs. oil pressure with Valvoline ZR-1 10W30
