Bought a new MSD Dizzy (Mag pick up) Street fire box) install new plugs and wires. engine has a miss at 1800 RPM's found the miss when I went to set total timing, the miss is on both banks not just 1.Things I have double and triple checked.
1. wiring for/too the control box
2.All plug wires to the plugs and the coil are snap on firmly (8mm)
3 firing order -- plug wires to plugs- triple check TDC on #1 plug
4 Made sure that wires on box for 4/6 or 8 cylinders are correct.(not cut)
5, Made sure that rev limiter was set at 5500 rpms
Car starts right up.
All things that were check was not only done buy me but another person so that It would help to check to make sure it was right, Never had this before change of box and Dizzy, What else is there? that would cause my issue?
