Thank you for the opportunity to share my new Valiant experience. It is a four door, six cylinder that has not run since 1992.
It has Soul left, and it cleaned so good my daughter thought it was not the same car.
The top looks good, very good, BUT there is rust, lots of it by the drivers side, rails etc.
The engine (225) turns but I have no spark. I am planning to get some tomorrow, starting with a new coil and a fresh oil change and gas from an auxiliary tank.
I have no brakes but I need to hear it running to keep going forward.
Not sure if my engine have hardened valve seats or not, I guess I have to add some additive. I will start with a Valvoline 10w30 for the first oil change.

I appreciate any advice you may have for a new owner like me. Thank you

Welcome, pick up a .008 brass feeler gauge while your at the store to check the reluctor gap. Excessive gap can cause a no spark.
